COLAHH Careers Provision Statement of Intent

COLA Highgate Hill is committed to providing a high quality education that offers all students the best start in life. This is also true for our comprehensive careers programme that gives students excellent independent advice and guidance with regards to careers, further and higher education and future life choices. We incorporate much of the careers provision through our PSHCE curriculum and the assignments built into this programme across the academic year. This is supported by extra-curricular events such as our established Careers Week, Careers Interviews for all Year 10 students, work experience and a mentoring programme in association with MUFG Bank of Tokyo, Macquarie Group and the Big Alliance. Alongside this, we work closely with Intouniversity who work with students across all year groups supporting them to attain their chosen aspiration, including further and higher education, employment and work-based training. This is all underpinned by Unifrog, which is a comprehensive online careers provision, allowing students access to up to date information about colleges and courses as well as university and careers, not only in the UK, but abroad as well.
