SPENDING OF THE CATCH-UP PREMIUM
The Catch-up Premium is being spent on strategies to support pupils who have fallen behind during the lockdown. We have identified the pupils through our internal assessments. The list of pupils is reviewed after each assessment round.
STRATEGIES
- One-to-one recovery sessions in maths and English for all year groups.
- Small group recovery sessions for core subjects for all year groups.
- Intervention and support in design and technology (textiles and food tech).
- Intervention in PE:
-Support vulnerable pupils with the rock climbing element of their course in PE. -Supporting pupils’ fitness and wellbeing through games and exercise. - Drama trips to the theatre to support disadvantaged pupils, and to improve the students’ cultural capital.
The impact of these strategies is measured at the end of each term.
